Just to clarify: I have nothing against your project or a project name similar to TortoiseSVN, it's just that the name ToytoiseSVN is too similar and already confuses some users. Considering that your project is relatively new with not yet that many users, the mail we got from one of your users on our mailing list clearly shows that people will get confused by the similarity of the project names. I appreciate your being willing to change the name of your project, it will help both our projects. Stefan > > >> Hi, >> >> I'm the lead developer of the TortoiseSVN project. I've discovered your site because we had a user complain today on our mailing list that TortoiseSVN on Linux didn't work as expected. Since there is no TortoiseSVN on Linux, I googled around and found your site. >> >> I think the name you chose for your project is too close to TortoiseSVN and will (as mentioned: it already has) confuse many users.
